About the Tour De Lounge (TDL)

Tour de Lounge is an annual charity event coinciding with the lesser-known Tour de France. Riding is usually carried out “Lounge style” (riding in front of the TV with the Tour de France) but regular road and gym miles are also acceptable. The Tour de Lounge (TdL) is all about not feeling the road beneath you, the wind in your hair or the sun in your face. It’s about living your pro-cycling dreams in your pyjamas in the comfort of your living room. It’s about believing you can be a world-beating, mountain-eating, enduro-freak without ever leaving your own home.

The TdL peloton rider’s complete 1,000kms (or more if they are up to it) over the same period as the Tour de France. There is however the 500km Roleur’s Dream for the all rounded work/life balance conscious or the 250km Sprinter’s Cup for the time poor Loungist. Riding will usually be carried out “Lounge style”, but heck, anything is acceptable – we don't try and pin down a lounge room athlete with rules and regulations if you are raising money. 100% of all funds raised go to the very worthy Leukaemia Foundation.
